Full house and future adventures

Well we have been very busy at the Osborn Casa. Kyle made it back home safe and sound after a long (too long in my opinion) training session! He was very happy with how it went and is excited to be a part of a great team of guys! He also was awarded an Army Commendation Medal for his efforts during the training! Congrats babe!

Spring is finally here and we sure are enjoying the beautiful weather. Here are some pics of the beautiful trees blooming as you go up the drive to our house! If this is just spring I cant wait for summer!

We have been busy getting settled and back into an everyday routine, but not without some rearranging and putting more stuff away. We have also made a couple trips to Ikea to attempt to get this house in order with some new furniture pieces!

My cooking class that I mentioned last post was amazing! We learned to make lamb, gnocchi (which attempted by myself unsuccessfully) with a spinach and smoked salmon cream sauce, leek and prosciutto puff pastry (one of my favorites of the day) and dark chocolate mousse (simply amazing- which I have now made twice in two weeks...butter is considered a food group in Italy right?). Here is a smattering of pictures from this last ladies adventure until deployment:

For Easter Kyle and I are joining Rachel her husband and a couple of their friends for Easter brunch at the same Winery: Ca' Bruzzo! Im excited to have another delicious meal!

+2 makes 4 and a furry child in the house. Mike, our good friend from Polk, has joined us at the house as his Wife Katie has now arrived in Italy for an extended visit! They are still in the early phases of house hunting and will be residing in the Guest room for the time being!

Stay tuned for the next post-warning it may be a bit- we are heading to IRELAND for a week! (Dont worry ROO will be in the very capable hands of Mike and Katie- give him extra snuggles to him for me guys!) We are finally taking our for all traditional purposes "honeymoon" to Ireland for a week. Kyles block leave was a perfect time to take advantage of our location, besides the day train trips we have done, to get out of Italy and see some more or Europe. I have a lot planned (had to do this one myself as the hubby was gone for so long) so we will be busy trying to cram in all the sights in a week! Wish us luck on our first International Travels, Ciao!
